Trip to Tanzania • Mon December 28 03:02:33 2009

This past March I traveled to Tanzania with my classmates on the trip of a lifetime! The spring break trek was organized by the Association for Hispanic and Black Business Student group at Stern. Eighty students traveled to Tanzania and Zanzibar, with a quick layover in Qatar.

One of the highlights of the trip was the safari. We visited Saadani National Park to saw elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, monkeys among many other animals. For the most part, all the animals were scared of the safari vehicles, but another group reported encountering aggressive elephants!

The trip ended on a relaxing note and the group spent two days on the beaches of Zanzibar.
